      About The Voice

The Voice is back in 2013 for a second season of the show that took Australia by storm. With a few new faces and a few minor tweaks, it's shaping up to be bigger and better than ever.

This year, Seal, Joel Madden, Delta Goodrem and newcomer to the The Voice, Ricky Martin, are competing as coaches - each one hoping to discover and nurture Australia's next great voice.

During the blind auditions, each coach must select 14 artists for their team. With their backs to the stage, the coaches judge each artist based only on what they hear. If a coach is impressed, they push a button which turns their chair to face the artist and signals that they want them on their team. If more than one coach selects the artist, the power shifts to the artist who may choose which coach they want to work with throughout the show.

Once the teams are set, the battle is on. Coaches will dedicate themselves to developing their singers, giving them advice, and sharing the highs and lows of their careers. During the battle rounds, the coaches must pit two of their own team members against each other to sing the same song together in front of a studio audience.

After the vocal face-off, the coach must choose which of his/her singers will advance. In a new twist each coach has the opportunity to save a member of another team who did not make it through. Only one artist may be saved from each team across the battle shows.

Each coach now has formed teams of eight, it's time for the showdowns where they must now each reduce their teams to four. Across two episodes all artists will perform and this time the audience will vote to help the coach decide who he or she will take into the live finals.

In this final performance phase of the competition, the top four artists from each team will compete against each other during a live broadcast. Each week, the combination of viewer and coach vote will determine who stays and who goes, until there is only one artist on each of the coaches' teams.

It is then that the coaches go head to head, to compete against the other teams' finalists to be named The Voice of Australia - the winner will receive the grand prize of a recording contract with Universal Music Australia, $100,000 and a Ford Focus Kuga

The competition in the kitchen is fierce when Pete Evans and Manu Feildel return for a seventh season of Australia's number one program, My Kitchen Rules.

Twelve new teams of talented home cooks and aspiring chefs get set to shine at Kitchen HQ as they battle it out for $250,000 in prize money in Australia's most popular and hotly contested cooking competition.

Acclaimed chefs Colin Fassnidge, Karen Martini, Guy Grossi and Liz Egan return to Kitchen HQ to judge the new batch of hopefuls.

And when the famous MKR doorbell rings this year, there will be a new judge taking a place at the dinner table!

      Group 1:
Monique and Sarah (NSW) - Cops
Mitch and Laura (VIC) - Brother and Sister
Cheryl and Matt (QLD) - Cougar and Cub
Rosie and Paige (SA) - Best Mates
Anna and Jordan (WA) - Mother and Son
Gianni and Zana (VIC) - Married Lawyers

      Group 2:

JP and Nelly (QLD) - Lovebirds
Nev and Kell (WA) - Tradie and Cleaner
Jessica and Marcos (VIC) - Fitness Friends

Each team will take turns to transform an ordinary home into an instant restaurant for one pressure cooker night. They'll plate up a three-course menu designed to impress the judges and their fellow contestants.
Last year, an average audience of 2.43 million viewers tuned in to see Pommie best mates Will and Steve take out the 2015 title.

Again this year, the top two teams will battle it out in the grand final where they will present their ultimate dining menu to a full restaurant.
