About the Show
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE soars into its 11th season this May with a two-hour premiere event showcasing America's most talented dancers during the audition rounds, beginning Wednesday, May 28 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Hosted by Cat Deeley and featuring resident judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, as well as guest judges, including Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Atlanta), Billy Porter and Misty Copeland (Philadelphia), Wayne Brady (New Orleans), Jenna Elfman and Fabrice Calmels (Chicago) and Christina Applegate (Los Angeles). The new season of the Emmy Award-nominated hit dance competition series once again will include awe-inspiring performances, as well as nail-biting eliminations, as the contestants compete to be named America's Favorite Dancer.
In Season 11, producers travel across the country in search of dancers who represent the best America has to offer. Callbacks are held in Los Angeles, where the dancers work with top choreographers to learn routines that they will perform for judges Lythgoe and Murphy, and guest judges Adam Shankman, Tara Lipinski, Stephen “tWitch” Boss and Irina Dvorovenko. Once the judges pick the Top 20 dancers, they turn it over to America. Each week, the dancers will be paired up to perform inspired pieces choreographed by some of the biggest names in the business. The following week, one male and one female dancer will be eliminated from the competition.
Throughout its 10 seasons, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE has received 37 Emmy Award nominations and garnered 11 Emmy wins, including Outstanding Choreography for Mia Michaels (2011, 2010 and 2007); Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo (2011); Tyce Diorio (2009); and Wade Robson in 2008 and 2007. The series also received awards in the category of Outstanding Costumes in 2010 and in 2009, as well as Outstanding Lighting Design in 2011 and 2012. SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE celebrated six Emmy Award nominations, including consecutive nods in the categories of Outstanding Reality-Competition Series and Outstanding Host for Reality or Reality-Competition Series for Cat Deeley. The series won a 2012 TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming and a 2012 Critics' Choice Television Award in the category of Best Reality Series – Competition, and Deeley won the 2012 Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Reality Show Host.
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe, and is from 19 Entertainment, a division of Core Media Group, and dick clark productions, inc. The series is executive-produced by Fuller; Lythgoe; Allen Shapiro, CEO of dick clark productions, inc.; Barry Adelman, Executive Vice President of dick clark productions, inc.; James Breen; and Jeff Thacker.
THE AMAZING RACE is a multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award- nominated host Phil Keoghan, which pits 11 teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world for approximately 25 days. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million.

CBS announced today the 11 teams that will embark on a sprint around the globe for $1 million dollars on the new season of THE AMAZING RACE, premiering Sunday, Sept. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Emmy Award winner Phil Keoghan (@philkeoghan) is the host.
THE AMAZING RACE has won the Emmy Award for “Outstanding Reality-Competition Program” nine times in the past 10 years. Currently, the series is nominated for its 10th Emmy in this category.
This season, which marks the 23nd race around the world for the series, will bring back the Double Express Pass twist that was introduced last season, in which the first Team to check in at the first pit stop will earn two “Express Passes” — one to keep for themselves and one that must be given to another Team by the end of the fifth leg of the Race.
As Teams travel through four continents and nine countries, spanning more than 35,000 miles, they will paraglide high above the skies of Iquique, Chile, subject themselves to a bone-chilling plunge in Norway and buckle up for Formula One Racing in Abu Dhabi.
This season’s diverse cast includes former NFL teammates, married ER doctors, theater performers, childhood friends, baseball wives, cousins and more. Read cast bios, check out photos of the cast, and watch videos to get to know the cast!

The Great Food Truck Race
Get Ready to Roll This Sunday with The Great Food Truck Race
This Sunday at 9pm/8c, The Great Food Truck Race, Season 4 premieres with all-new trucks, cities and challenges. It’s going to be the longest route yet for the food truck rookies, who will learn to operate a mobile business right on the road. But if that wasn’t enough, host Tyler Florence will be throwing Speed Bumps and Truck Stop challenges at them to see how they do: It could be anything from completely making over the menu to selling at a breakneck pace in order to be the first to win a cash prize. At the end of the race only one team will be left standing with $50,000 and the keys to their truck.
FN Dish recently caught up with members of Philly’s Finest Sambonis and The Frankfoota Truck, who were visiting New York. “You can expect absolute mayhem,” said Dana of The Frankfoota Truck, “especially in the beginning when none of us knows what we’re doing.” “It’s an emotional roller coaster,” said Joe from Philly’s Finest Sambonis. This season, expect to see some of the hardest challenges yet, which Erik of Philly’s can attest to: “We could have sat for three months trying to figure out what challenges would get thrown at us and we still wouldn’t have been able to figure them out.” But even with the competitiveness from each team, there was an element of camaraderie, as Dana explained: “In the beginning we all had our guard up, so it took a while for us to embrace the other teams; but once we did, it was a ball.”
