About The Voice
The Voice is back in 2013 for a second season of the show that took Australia by storm. With a few new faces and a few minor tweaks, it's shaping up to be bigger and better than ever.
This year, Seal, Joel Madden, Delta Goodrem and newcomer to the The Voice, Ricky Martin, are competing as coaches - each one hoping to discover and nurture Australia's next great voice.
During the blind auditions, each coach must select 14 artists for their team. With their backs to the stage, the coaches judge each artist based only on what they hear. If a coach is impressed, they push a button which turns their chair to face the artist and signals that they want them on their team. If more than one coach selects the artist, the power shifts to the artist who may choose which coach they want to work with throughout the show.
Once the teams are set, the battle is on. Coaches will dedicate themselves to developing their singers, giving them advice, and sharing the highs and lows of their careers. During the battle rounds, the coaches must pit two of their own team members against each other to sing the same song together in front of a studio audience.
After the vocal face-off, the coach must choose which of his/her singers will advance. In a new twist each coach has the opportunity to save a member of another team who did not make it through. Only one artist may be saved from each team across the battle shows.
Each coach now has formed teams of eight, it's time for the showdowns where they must now each reduce their teams to four. Across two episodes all artists will perform and this time the audience will vote to help the coach decide who he or she will take into the live finals.
In this final performance phase of the competition, the top four artists from each team will compete against each other during a live broadcast. Each week, the combination of viewer and coach vote will determine who stays and who goes, until there is only one artist on each of the coaches' teams.
It is then that the coaches go head to head, to compete against the other teams' finalists to be named The Voice of Australia - the winner will receive the grand prize of a recording contract with Universal Music Australia, $100,000 and a Ford Focus Kuga

The Four Battle for Stardom
About the Show
FOX will team up with iHeartMedia on the new music competition series THE FOUR: BATTLE FOR STARDOM. Eight-time Grammy® Award-winning, multi-Platinum solo artist Fergie will serve as host, and Grammy® Award-winning musician, record producer and songwriter Sean “Diddy” Combs, record-producing hitmaker DJ Khaled, Grammy-winning recording artist and songwriter Meghan Trainor and record label executive Charlie Walk have joined the panel of experts. THE FOUR begins where most competitions end: with the four finalists. Four super-talented and fiercely competitive singers, chosen from their auditions by the show’s panel of music industry experts, will try to defend their coveted spots on the stage, as they are challenged individually by new singers determined to replace them. Each week, if any of the four are outperformed, they’ll go home and their challengers will take their place.
And those challengers could be fans who had been sitting on a couch one week, and singing onstage the next. Viewers who think they've got the talent to compete and unseat the four singers onstage will have the opportunity to submit an audition video. America will have the chance to decide who is brought onto the show by voting on the available streamed auditions and influencing which challengers will take on THE FOUR and shake up the competition.
If the existing four singers outperform their challengers, then they survive to sing another week, until the end of the season, when the singers have safely secured their spots on stage and face off against each other, resulting in one being named the winner. At stake is the ultimate prize: the panel of industry experts becomes key players on the winner’s team. This elite group of star-makers will help shepherd the winner’s career and be fully invested in making him or her a breakout star. As part of the grand prize, the winner will also be part of iHeartMedia’s coveted “On the Verge” artist development program, which will support the winning talent with airplay across iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide.
THE FOUR was created by Armoza Formats and is produced by ITV Entertainment in association with Armoza Formats. David George, Adam Sher, David Eilenberg, Jessica Sebastian-Dayeh, Simon Thomas, Becca Walker, David Friedman, Avi Armoza and Nehama Cohen will serve as executive producers.

The Voice
ABOUT THE SHOW
"The Voice," which has won three Emmys for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program, returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show's new season.
Superstar singer, songwriter, actress and pop-culture icon Miley Cyrus returns as a coach this season with Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe-winning recording artist and Broadway star Jennifer Hudson taking a red chair alongside the show's returning coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and host Carson Daly.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: the first begins with the blind auditions, then the battle rounds, knockouts, playoffs and, finally, the live performance shows.
During the blind auditions, the decisions from the musician coaches are based solely on voice and not on looks. The coaches hear the artists perform, but they don't get to see them - thanks to rotating chairs. If a coach is impressed by the artist's voice, he/she pushes a button to select the artist for his/her team. At this point, the coach's chair will swivel so that he/she can face the artist he/she has selected. If more than one coach pushes his/her button, the power then shifts to the artists to choose which coach they want to work with. If no coach pushes his/her button, the artist is eliminated from the competition.
Once the teams are set, the battle is on.
The coaches dedicate themselves to developing their team of artists, giving them advice and sharing the secrets of their success, along with help from their celebrity advisers. During the battle rounds, the coaches will pit two of their own team members against each other to sing the same song together in front of a studio audience. After the vocal battle, the coach must choose which of his/her singers will advance to the next round of competition, while the losing artist is available to be stolen by another coach. Each coach has two steals available during the battle rounds.
At the end of the battle rounds, only the strongest members of each coach's roster remain and proceed to the knockout rounds. Here, the artists will be paired against a teammate once more, but this time they will select their own songs to perform individually while their direct competitor watches and waits. They are vying for their coach's confidence and decision to take them to the final and crucial round before the live shows, the playoffs.
One superstar universal adviser will be on hand to work with all of the coaches and their teams as they prepare the artists for this challenge. But the coaches alone will choose the winner and the artist not selected will be available to be stolen by another coach.
Each coach has one steal available during the knockout rounds.
In the playoff rounds, the "Coach Comeback" format twist returns as each coach will be allowed to bring back one team member previously eliminated from the competition during the knockout rounds. The Top 24 artists will compete to secure a spot in the live shows. Artists will perform and the coaches will then select three of their six artists to complete their roster and move on to the final phase of the competition - the live shows.
In the final live performance phase of the competition, the Top 12 artists will compete each week against each other during a live broadcast. The television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. Three artists with the lowest number of votes will be eligible for the "Instant Save." These artists will each perform a new song that represents why they should earn the save. America will then have the opportunity to save their favorite performer by tweeting out #VoiceSave along with the artist's name. The singers with the lowest number of votes will be sent home each week. In the end, one will be named "The Voice" and will receive the grand prize of a recording contract.
"The Voice" is a presentation of MGM Television, Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Lee Metzger, Chad Hines, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson and Jay Bienstock.

5 things you need to know about The X Factor 2017
10:00 - 1 SEP 2017
XF Judges
It’s almost time to face the music, with the new series of The X Factor set to brighten up your weekend from Saturday, 2nd September.
But, before you settle down for a night on the sofa with our Judges, we’ve got all the info you need...
1. More young, fresh talent
With the contestant Audition aged lowered to 14, this year sees a whole hoard of fresh talent trying their luck, with Sharon explaining: “We have got so many young singer/songwriters. There are kids who produce their own tracks too, and for me, that’s so much more interesting. These kids are not just singing everyone else’s songs, I love that and feel like we’ve come a long way.”
2. More original songs
In a first for The X Factor, contestants have been encouraged to perform their own original tracks, with Simon revealing: “When they are good song writers you have to encourage that, 100%, otherwise it’s just karaoke”, while Nicole added: “If someone’s written a hit that’s going to blow everyone away then even though it’s a risk to take, sometimes that’s what it takes to stand apart from the rest… The other day a contestant, sang an original song that made me cry like a baby and I wanted to buy it right then, I wanted to download it right then and listen to it on repeat. That’s talent.”

3. Thrilling Thorpe Park Auditions
For the first time ever, The X Factor took over Thorpe Park in a bid to find the next big singing superstar, with Nicole saying: “We got to hold one of our auditions at Thorpe Park which I was super stoked about because I love rollercoasters and amusement parks. There was one rollercoaster called Stealth, I think I did it five times in a row, I loved it. I’m an adrenalin junkie and that ride was so much fun. Simon was like a kid at the park, he was so excited and into it.”
4. Attracting worldwide talent
Continuing to cement it’s place as one of the biggest and best talent shows, this year’s X Factor saw contestants coming from far and wide to impress our panel. Louis noted: “It’s great because there are so many other shows, but this is the only one that matters, The X Factor, this is worldwide. We have so many people coming from other countries like Holland, a lot of people from the Philippines and America - everywhere, even Ireland!”
5. Live Shows
With talks of changing the format to the Live Shows this year, Simon has said: “The early and middle rounds rate well. So, the idea is to do more of the middle shows and less of the live shows. We’ll see if it works or not. I think there might be a middle ground.” Nicole concluded: “You have to evolve. We’re evolving as a show, we want to give the people what they want.”
The X Factor returns to ITV on Saturday, 2nd September, at 8pm! We can hardly contain our excitement…
